AusCycling - Voting now open for MTBA members - must be completed by 11am (AEST) 21st Nov

As you have probably heard all the nationals cycling bodies (BMX Australia, Mountain Bike Australia and Cycling Australia) have been working on amalgamating to form a single national body to be named AusCycling.

The NEMTB Committee unanimously support this transformation.


Key aspects for forming AusCycling are;
* Stronger, louder and more united voice for all riders
* Better value memberships
* One licence allowing access to all disciplines. (If you want to race ALL disciplines it will cost $250 plus club fees. The so called 'dirt' licence (MTB. BMX, CX and presumably OT) will cost $150 plus club fees but will NOT permit racing in Road or Track without a day permit).
* Stronger advocacy for rider safety and awareness


It is very important to assist the process by voting at the AGM to be held at Gold Coast Cycle Centre on Saturday 30 Nov.


For people that are not able to attend you can send in a proxy vote which the Chair of the Meeting can deliver on your behalf. To complete this proxy printout out the following form and return to MTBA by the means shown on the form by 11am (AEST) Thursday 28 Nov or pass onto one to the NEMTB Committee members to co-ordinate their return.
