Participants will learn new skills and have fun on a bike in small groups of similar skill and age groups. Ages: All age groups, from beginners to advanced. What to bring: Water bottle, bike helmet (must have a AS/NZS
2063:2008 sticker attached) and a roadworthy mountain bike. It is
strongly recommended that your bike is checked by your local bike shop
mechanic to get the most out of the experience. What to wear: Suitable exercise clothes and shoes, bike gloves and glasses are recommended. Cost: Free for NEMTB club members or MTBA members. If you
are a non-member you can obtain a 8 week free MTBA Trial licence by following this link, otherwise you will be charged a recreation permit for $10 for adults ($7 for juniors) per session when registering. Venue: Meet in the SportUNE Hockey fields carpark (at the back of the SportUNE complex) Dates: Monday, 19 October to Monday, 14 December 2020 Time: 5-6pm If a session is cancelled this will be notified via the NEMTB facebook page and the NEMTB webpage by 4pm on the day. Please be aware that this is event is subject to current NSW Covid-19 restrictions and may be cancelled at short notice. Due to Covid-19 there will be some changes on how these sessions are run. Registrations will be ONLINE ONLY, absolutely NO registrations on
the day and we will be following our Covid-19 Safety Plan which will
include practicing good hygiene, social distancing and recording all
attendees including support personnel. Downloading the COVIDSafe App is
strongly recommended. We are promoting a "Turn up, Participate, Leave" approach. Hand
sanitiser and disinfectant wipes will be available. By entering online,
your registration will capture your relevant details required for the
Covid Register, support personnel/parent/caregivers are also required to
give their details.
If you are unwell or have cold/flu/fever like symptoms, PLEASE STAY
AT HOME. DO NOT attend if you have visited Victoria in the previous 14
days or have been to any of the reported case locations listed on the
