2024 Summer Series


It’s back on!! The very popular Summer Series Races.


The series starts on Monday, 12 February and runs until Monday, 25 March 2024.


Race 7 will be held at SportUNE on 25 March. 


Races held at SportUNE will be riding parts of the Kermit loop shown in thick green on the map below. The shorter loop for the younger riders will be the “Short Back” link shown red on the map.


Races at Kookaburra Crest will be full lap for all riders, etc. a short loop for the younger riders. 


Entries will be ONLINE ONLY, NO registrations on the day.  All riders require an AusCycling membership to race. If a rider is not an AusCycling member then a $30 per day race licence will need to be purchased on top of the below costs. AusCycling offers a free 4 week trial licence if you have not been a member previously. You can also use your Active Kids voucher if you need to renew your membership!


Race Plates

Race plates will be issued to individuals for the year and it is your responsibility to bring your race plate if you would like your race to be timed. 


About the races……


The race format is a 35 minute race and each rider can do as many laps as possible in that time.

The tracks are short and designed to be fun, A lines and B lines will be in play.

The first race starts at 5.00pm for Juniors and anyone else who needs to race early, the second race is for open categories and starts at 5.50pm.

The cost is $30 for adults and $15 for junior members for the series or $10 adults and $5 junior per race.
