2023 Winter Series Racing Schedule
Winter Race Dates are as follows:
Race 1 - 30 April - SportUNE MTB Trails/NIXCS Round 1
Race 2 - 21 May - SportUNE MTB Trails & Club Championship
Race 3 - 18 June - Walcha MTB Track/NIXCS Round 3
Race 4 - 16 July - SportUNE MTB Trails
Race 5 - 20 August - SportUNE MTB Trails
Race 6 - 17 September - Walcha MTB Track
Race categories are as follows:
Elite male/female
19-39 male/female
40+ male/female
50+ male/female
U19 male/female
U17 male/female
U15 male/female
E-Bikes male/female
U13 male/female - shortened loop
U11 - fun course
Entries will be ONLINE ONLY. Online entries will close on Sunday morning at 9am before the race. AusCycling members will need to log in with their username and password to avoid the $35 Day Licence fee. If you select the "continue as guest" option, you will be charged the $35 regardless if you are a member or not.
If you have been issued a number plate from a previous race i.e. NIXCS rounds or summer series races, you will NEED to bring it for these races. It is your responsibility to bring your number plate if you would like your race to be timed. If this is your first race with NEMTB, you will be issued with a plate which you must bring to every race.
If you are unwell or have cold/flu/fever like symptoms, PLEASE STAY AT HOME.
About the races……
The Winter Series races are held once a month over Autumn thru Winter. The race will start at 11:30 am. Please check the Facebook page as to where the races are held as the venues may change due to track conditions etc.
Plate pick up and registration starts at 10.45am and needs to be completed by 11.15am. Riders need a current AusCycling Race licence to compete, otherwise a day licence can be purchased for $35.00 during the online registration process. If you are new to racing you can get apply for a FREE 4 Week Trial Licence HERE. The race entry fee is $5 per adult and $2 per junior.
Riders of all abilities are invited to race, especially those new to the sport.
