2024 Northern Inland Cross Country Series (NIXCS)

2024 NIXCS

The 2024 NIXCS is an inter-club XCO race series, run across cross-country trails at Tamworth, Armidale, Walcha, Inverell and Copeton. The series is jointly hosted by the Tamworth Mountain Bikers, Inverell Mountain Bike Club and NEMTB. 

This is a great opportunity to compete with riders from other regional clubs across the Northern Inland.

Dates, venues and hosting club are as follows:

Round 1: 26 May - SportUNE hosted by NEMTB. Refer to Winter Series page to register

Round 2: 16 June - The Piney hosted by NEMTB. Refer to Winter Series page to register

Round 3: 7 July - Inverell hosted by Inverell MTB Club. Registration link to be confirmed

Round 4: 10 August - Tamworth hosted by TAMMTB. Register here.
This round is part of the Tamworth Mountain Bike Festival

Round 5: 7 September - Mount Borah hosted by TAMMTB. Registration link to be confirmed

Round 6: 28 September - Copeton Dam hosted by Inverell MTB Club. Registration link to be confirmed

Registrations for each event are via the hosting club's website (see links above) so contact the each club for more details for the relevant dates. Note that the NEMTB dates are incorporated in the Winter Series races. 

The XCO style format includes a set race duration planned according to age group category and includes an all ages Elite option. A recreational option is also available for the less competitive who wish to participate but not be timed.
