In memory of Brian Cockbain

It was sad to hear that Brain passed away on Saturday while on a road ride. Apparently not racing as he was saving himself for today’s GNaTPACK race at Bom Bom. As most would know he has been in fine form and would have pushed the crew.

I, like many others from the New England area, believe he was one of the critical few track fairies who put together the Jack Ridge trails and in particularly that magic section “The Roller Coaster” where I still remember the hoots of joy from my family as we rolled through.

NEMTB sends their condolences to Brian’s family, loved ones, friends and all the cycling eternity both on the mountain bikes and the road.
