This weekend’s Social Race will be at Kookaburra Crest.
We are going to run a 90 minute 3 person relay event. Sign on at 1:30 for a 2pm Start, you bring a team of three or we can arrange you into a team. This is a social event so bring someone who is new to riding, share a bike, share your clothes but have some fun.
Theme this week is World Cup - this means bring a rattle, a horn and or a whistle and make some serious noise. Don’t forget to dress up, if you really get into the world cup atmosphere there will be time bonuses.
So don’t worry if you don’t have a team just rock up and be ready to have some fun.
Competitors must be a NEMTB member or pay for a day licence. People who have already paid their Winter Series fees or pay them on the day will be free. Otherwise $2 for adults and $1 for U19.
Please note that UCI will not be awarding points for this event.
It’s getting a little dark and cool so there will be no BBQ after the race.
