Social Club Race and BBQ this Sunday – 2 For 2 at The Piney

We will be meeting at usual Winter Series starting location, well actually just at the entrance of The Piney of Pine Forest Rd. Registration will be at 1:30pm for a 2pm start.

The event is 2 for 2, meaning a team of two riders will take turns doing laps for 2 hours. As this is a social event, and I’m not riding because my 29er bit me, I will be trying to match up riders to keep it even and a little unpredictable. We will be racing on a section of track that will take approximately 10minutes to complete a lap – which bit of track will it be????

So don’t worry if you don’t have a team just rock up and be ready to have some fun.

Competitors must be a NEMTB member or pay for a day license. People who have already paid their Winter Series fees or pay them on the day will be free. Otherwise $2 for adults and $1 for U19.

Following the race there will be a BYO BBQ. So bring along your favorite chunks of meat for a nice social finish to the weekend. The club will have soft drinks for sale for $2 ea.

We will also have a few random prizes on the day.
