Bumble Bee!!!

NEMTB had planned a Busy Bee last Saturday morning at The Piney but instead it turned into a Class I Bumble Bee - the be all and end all of the humble busy bee.
We had another fantastic volunteer turn out with Michael Wooster and Bill Platts leading the charge. The team was made up of Peter Harris and his fabled dog Lucy, Steve and Winona Rumble, the entire Wooster and Chapman families, Michael Norris, Kirby Knowles, Peter Platts, Dave and Shireen Brunkhorst, Lisa and Mick Harris, Barb, Bella and Katherine Hosking, and the clubs new Solo Champ Paul Billings.
During the session the team managed to prepare the track from the south section of The Piney under the Tilbuster Traffic Bridge and through to the TSR which is being connected to Charleston Willows. This section of track will allow us to link through to the Charleston Willows facilities without crossing any roads for this year’s UNE 12 Hours In The Piney to be held on the 23 March 2013.
A huge thank you to all members of the above team who once again managed to lift the bar. Our next Busy Bee will be on Saturday, 2 February 2013 from 9 to 11 am.
