About the races……
The Winter Series races are held once a month over Autumn thru Winter and is a 1.5 to 2 hour cross country (XC) race.
Riders can choose to come for some a social ride, social racing or just go hard.
The race will start at 11:30 am. Please check the Facebook page as to where the races are held as the venues may change due to track conditions etc.

Registration and Race Plate collection is from 10.45am.
The Junior (U13) race will commence at 11am.
The racing starts at 11.30am for for all other categories.
Format
Format
Cross Country style racing across an identified course at each venue.
The courses vary between venue with a distance typically of between 5 and 7km with riders completing a set number of laps of the course. The number of laps depends on the race category entered and is set by the race marshal during the race briefing.

Entries for the Winter Series Race 2/NIXCS Round 1 will be ONLINE ONLY. Online entries will close on Sunday morning at 12am before the race. AusCycling members will need to log in with their username and password to avoid the $35 Day Licence fee. If you select the "continue as guest" option, you will be charged the $35 regardless if you are a member or not.
This applies to all riders, including current NEMTB members, TAS riders and riders from other clubs.
Riders can register via the purple register button.

Race Plates
Race Plates
If you have been issued a number plate from a previous race i.e. NIXCS rounds or winter series races, you will NEED to bring it for these races. It is your responsibility to bring your number plate if you would like your race to be timed.
Otherwise you will be issued with a plate during registration.
