2025 NIXCS
The 2025 NIXCS is an inter-club XCO race series. The series is jointly hosted by the Tamworth Mountain Bikers, Inverell Mountain Bike Club and NEMTB. For the first time, this year Gunnedah Mountain Bikers and North West Mountain Bike Club will also be hosting rounds on their home trails.
This is a great opportunity to compete with riders from other regional clubs on different tracks across the Northern Inland.
Dates, venues and hosting club are as follows:
Round 1: 1 June - SportUNE hosted by NEMTB. Refer to Winter Series page to register
Round 2: 13 July - Inverell hosted by Inverell MTB Club. Registration link to be confirmed
Round 3: 17 August - Gunnedah hosted by Gunnedah Mountain Bikers. Registration link to be confirmed
Round 4: 21 September - Mt Borah (Manilla) hosted by North West Mountain Bike Club.Registration link to be confirmed
Round 5: 26 October - Tamworth hosted by Tamworth Mountain Bike Club. Registration link to be confirmed
Registrations for each event are via the hosting club's website so contact the each club for more details for the relevant dates. Note that the NEMTB dates are incorporated in the Winter Series races.
Format:
The NIXCS is typically an XCO style format with a set race duration planned according to age group category and includes an all ages Elite option.
The race will typically run for a least 90 minutes for the majority of riders.
A Junior (U13) race will also be held over a short-course before the main race starts.
A recreational option is also available for the less competitive who wish to participate but will not be timed.
